- As a global metals supplier, Yarde Metals is seeking a Distributor Sales Representative to sell products and services to the semi-conductor, solar, FPD and defense markets in Korea and Asia.
Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop and maintain profitable relationships with new and existing customers.
• Maintain a working knowledge of products, services, equipment, programs and markets.
• Interact with Managers and various personnel to assist in penetrating specific markets, territories or customer accounts to increase sales levels and contractual opportunities.
• Provide the credit department with first-hand information on customer financials and assist with the collection on delinquent accounts.
• Selectively entertain customers and budget proportionally to account status, sales volume, profit and overall sales potential. Maintain a reasonable entertainment budget and submit monthly expense reports according to established procedures.
• Consult with the Marketing department to discuss promotional ideas and schedule promotional work.
• Represent the company in a positive, professional and ethical manner when dealing with customers, suppliers and competitors in business and social settings.
• Promote the Company’s name, product and services through networking and creating rapports with customers.
• Initiate, direct and participate in sales presentations, trade shows and business events designed to identify current or potential customer needs.
Requirements:
Education:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• College degree preferred.
Experience:
• Working experience and technical knowledge of the semi-conductor, solar, FPD and defense industries.
• General understanding of export compliance and international trade.
Other:
• Reside in Korea and speak fluent Korean and English.
• Travel VISA is required to conduct business outside of Korea in Asian markets and to attend meetings in the United States when required.
• Proficient in using office software: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Frequent travel required.

- We are accepting applications for current and future 2nd & 3rd shift General Warehouse positions in our Streetsboro, OH location.
Responsibilities include:
• Retrieving material from inventory and loading/offloading material from trucks using forklifts, side loaders, and overhead cranes.
• Measuring material and preparing orders for delivery using micrometers, calipers, scales, and banding equipment.
• Constructing crates, skids, and boxes.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Experience: None required. Warehousing, material handling, forklift experience preferred.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Must be able to read, understand and carry out work instructions.

Yarde Metals is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations to join our Southington, CT operations team.
Reporting directly to the President/COO, the Corporate Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the safe warehousing, production, maintenance, transportation and quality of multi‐state distribution centers through the supervision of managers, to obtain and uphold the highest performance standards in the industry.
Responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with the President/COO and key management to service customers with the highest quality of service and products.
• Leading the development & execution of facility operating plans and initiatives.
• Developing key metrics to measure and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Developing cost improvement initiatives and Lean techniques.
• Managing plant assets, budgets and capital investment plans
• Preparing business plans and cost analyses to recommend locations for new facilities and executing the necessary activities to establish business operations.
• Developing contingency plans and directing activities when appropriate.
• Researching and implementing programs, methods, best practices, and technologies to increase performance, efficiency, safety, quality and profitability.
• Ensuring operations all branches are compliant with established business programs and state and federal laws.
• Overseeing a team of Operations Managers to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Creating and maintaining a culture of safety, quality, teamwork and innovation.

Requirements:
Education:4 year degree in related field, preferably Industrial Management or Industrial Engineering
Experience:5 years experience in operations management, directly related to the responsibilities of the position—preferably in a distribution environment or in the metals industry.
Must be a hands‐on leader, strong communicator, strategic thinker, and capable of applying sound judgment to business situations.
Intermittent travel required.
