Yarde Metals Ohio and North Carolina Branches Achieve ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 (REV C) Certification
January 14, 2014, Southington, CT - Yarde Metals, a leading metals service center and supplier to the aerospace and defense industry, announced today its Streetsboro, Ohio and Greensboro, North Carolina branch locations have successfully achieved ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 (Rev C) certification. Yarde Metals New Hampshire, New York, and Connecticut divisions were previously certified.

AS9100 emphasizes continuous improvement and includes a new requirement for the aerospace and defense industries that builds on the foundation of ISO 9001:2008. The latest revision of AS9100, known as Rev. C, is designed to ensure a higher level of customer satisfaction and quality by placing additional emphasis on risk management and mitigation, more stringent demands on supply chain management controls and a greater focus on planning and project management critical to aerospace and defense industries.
