He began on the ground floor of operations, loading trucks and making deliveries, eventually working his way up to Branch Operations Supervisor.
In 2000 Mr. Smith was promoted to Fleet Manager at Yarde's corporate facility in Connecticut. His responsibilities increased with his next promotion to Operations Manager, directing all phases of operations, including shipping, receiving and customer service. Prior to being named COO,Mr. Smith served as VP Operations. In his new capacity, he will oversee the company's Sales, Operations, and Human Resources departments.
