Yarde is proud to share its commitment to the environment. In addition to green spaces at all our branch locations, recycling efforts and energy savings initiatives, Yarde Metals has also expanded its solar array in Southington, CT.
Originally installed in 2011, the initial 217.4 kW solar array generates approximately 21% of the energy usage at our sheet processing facility. The expansion to 935.4 kWh has been online since late 2023.
