Yarde Metals Celebrates Grand Opening of its 150,000 Sq Ft Cut-To-Length Facility
Southington, CT - Yarde Metals, Inc will celebrate the grand opening of its Cut-to-Length Facility with its business partners November 17th 2011 from 4:00-7:00 pm. The 150,000 square foot facility is located adjacent to the company's headquarters in Southington, Connecticut. Yarde will host a tour of the facility for the Southington Chamber of Commerce, Jensen Communities and its Newell Street neighbors from 12:00-1:00 PM on November 17th.

The new facility houses a Herr-Voss Cut-to-Length Line, capable of leveling and cutting aluminum, stainless and carbon coil up to 50,000 lbs, 1/4" thk x 72" wide and has PVC and Paper Interleaving capabilities. In addition to the Cut-To-Length Line, Yarde's sheet facility will house a Precision Saw, 3 shears and a 4.0 million pound capacity sheet racking system as well as coil products. The building features many green technologies including the utilization of natural light through translucent panels, high efficiency and LED lighting, solar panels and a high-efficiency heating system.
