SOUTHINGTON, CT based Yarde Metals, Inc. has announced that it has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification and the Aerospace AS9100 statement of conformance. These are process based standards that enable organizations to link their business objectives with effective operating procedures.
Certification audits were performed by DNV, Inc. an accredited and internationally recognized third party quality system registrar.

Yarde Metals, a distributor of aluminum, stainless, brass and copper products, is based out of Southington, CT. In addition to their 500,000 square foot Connecticut facility, they have expanded their operations over the last twenty-eight years to include branches located in New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The company also has a special division serving the international market.
